Abeyance Reduction Program
Senate Bill 336, introduced at the request of the Hospital Association and enacted during the 2015 legislative session, mandates that all penalties held in abeyance by the West Virginia Health Care Authority be waived by May 31, 2015. It also eliminates our ability to place penalties in abeyance in the future. As a result, the Abeyance Reduction Program has been eliminated.
