West Virginia Health Care Authority

Quarterly Reports

All hospitals subject to Rate Review are required to file quarterly Monitor and Variance Reports (commonly referred to as compliance reports or CBM-9/B-9 reports). These reports notify the Authority of any potential overages the hospital is experiencing and whether or not these overages may be justified. This form is due 30 days after each quarter end. All hospitals are expected to be in compliance with established revenue limits at their year end.

Hospitals are to continue submitting quarterly compliance reports for each quarter covered by the FY 2016 rate orders. Senate Bill 68 did not rescind the orders in place; therefore, hospitals must comply with the rates established by the FY 2016 rate orders.
